Raúl Gutiérrez was born in Santiago de Chile. He is the creator and founder of the Martial Art Kenpo Fu-Shih.

He has been World Champion 10 times (one of the few martial artists have achieved international World titles in all the various forms that exist, to K.O Karate., Self Defense, Oriental Weapons Management, Traditionals Forms, Creatively Forms, and Kick-Boxing). Awarded 9 times International Hall of Fame, including: Sports Man of the Year, Best Martial Artist International, Grand Master of the Year, Grand Master Kenpo Fu-Shih, etc.

He has worked as an Actor, Stuntman and Master of Arms (Action Director) of some American and European productions. Sharing Geat Martial Artists including: Chuck Norris, Ed Parker, Bill Wallace, Tomas B. Mitose, Jeff Speakman, etc.
